Is there an easy way to strip the seconds from an hours/minutes/seconds datetime data type to display in a view column?

I want 12:00 PM

Instead of 12:00:00 PM

I know you can do it with the datetime properties on a column but I need to convert the time data to text so I can concatenate text data in a formula for displaying in the view.
